• Topics:
  • Introduction MySpace Iteration 2 Structure.
  • Planning for Iteration 3:
    • Learning Dave's MySpaceExplore for Iteration 2 and reuse, Learning Emelfm and try to combine this 2.
    • New functionality need to be add in MySpaceExplore for Iteration 3:
      • Extend Lease: change of colour when nearly expired
      • Publish
      • Import(download)
      • GUI managing page for Admin to Create User/Delete User etc.
      • Change owner???
  • Questions and Concerns:
    • Without Using Java Applet to achieve a "flashy" looking MySpaceExplore within limited time will be something difficult.
    • Dave's Portal page might have a learning curve so Brian has to co-ordinate with Dave.
    • Expired time need to be defined.
    • Publised Data: known as "not to be deleted" but shall we add delete authrise for Admin and the creator for the Data in case user mistakenly published something?
    • Authentication/Authorization:
      • Assuming that user has been Authenticated from Portal by the time he reached MySpaceExplore so no Authentication need.
      • We need to confirm from Comminity that if they are providing user/group defining tool.
  • Ideas:
    • For File transffering: we can filter by fileSize eg. huge files remains co-located with DataSetAccess(as ACD mentioned earlier as well)
