Demonstration Logistics

Setup Day

All presentors and demonstartors should be at the NeSC by lunchtime on Monday 13 Dec 2004. Run throughs of the demos and presentations will take place then.

Location

The presentations will take place in the Newhaven lecture theatre. Note, only the front four rows of the lecture theatre have power points available.

There will be two projectors available:

• the main screen (a back projection device - note laser pointers don not work with this) will show the running AstroGrid demonstration.
• A second (portable) screen (~6 ft x 6 ft) will be positioned to the right of the main screen (as the audience views it). This screen will show the explanatory slides which will be run in parallel with the demonstration.

Both projects are SVGA capabale at 1024x768 pixel resolution.

Networking

• Two 100Mbs network connections will be available for the presentors.
• NeSC runs a woreless network for general attendees.
