Group C (Seb's group)

Want to work with the SWIRE catalogues. Assemble all spectra-z in SWIRE fields (producing both complete and inhomogeneous sub-sets). Cross match SWIRE catalogues with other photometry, e.g. UKIDSS. Cross-match internal SWIRE products in particular the longer wavelengths that have not been done in detail to produce "mock-ASTRO-F" catalogues. Calibrate and test photo-z and template fitting codes.

Notes / feedback

• Query builder is difficult for building complicated queries, e.g.: SELECT ra, dec FROM twomass_xsc WHERE NOT ( ( ra>320 and abs(dec)<7) and (ra>... and abs(dec)<...) and ( ...) )
• Not possible to download large files (600Mb) to MySpace.
• SWIRE appears as an All Sky Survey in Astroscope.
• Need more data/services available: - SLOAN catalogues - NED - Vizier
