• Configure the Workbench to use the Workshop registry and check it launches correctly afterwards. If you see a problem - grab a tutor to help you fix it.
  • Once configured, the workbench can be restarted by clicking this URL - http://software.astrogrid.org/jnlp/astrogrid-desktop/astrogrid-desktop.jnlp

• Meanwhile, we'll run through the presentation (.odp, .pdf).

• Download the Zip of example scripts & recipes. This shows how to connect to the ACR from various programming languages.
  • The page AcrRecipes give recipes for other languages.

• Next work through MakingAppsVOAwareWorksheet, while referring to the ACR API Documentation.
  • If you get stuck ask a tutor, or peek at MakingAppsVOAwareWorksheetSolutions
