Logistical Information

Meeting Equipment

Wireless networking will be available in the meeting rooms. Digital projectors and OHPs will be provided.


There will be a sign up sheet where you can give details of times required for taxis to the airport, railway station, etc, on the front reception desk in the Hoyle building. Our receptionist will then make the necessary booking for you.


The meeting will be held in the Hoyle building - primarily the Sacker Lecture Theatre - a map of the IoA gives the local location.

If you require accommodation for this meeting, please check the Cambridge Tourist office - they maintain a comprehensive list of hotels at The Cambridge Lodge Hotel on the Huntingdon Road is the closest to the IoA - a 10 minute walk.

Meeting Dinner

Because this is a one day meeting there will be no meeting dinner. However, those attending this meeting, who will also be at the following AstroGrid workshop, there will be a dinner associated with that - Weds 13 July 2005. Please indicate your attendance at that on the workshop registration page.
