The job of this group will be to actively represent AstroGrid interests in the IVOA workgroups, to generate standards documents for the IVOA which reflect AstroGrid interfaces, and to communicate IVOA standards to the AstroGrid team.

The groups will be open to anyone to participate but I'd like to establish an initial core of people with specific focus areas:

Registry: Kevin, Elizabeth
Data Model: Anita, Nic, Guy
Data Access & VOQL: Dave M, Martin, Clive P, Paul

In addition to being part of the DM subgroup, I'd like Guy, as TA, to be a member of each of the subgroups so that any standards take account of our architecture and vice versa. We can discuss how to cover the other IVOA workgroups later but these are the most important for now.

I'd like Keith to take overall responsibility for coordination of the standards effort. This will ensure that the standards and development efforts mesh in terms of personnel and task allocations.
