TheMySpace concept will provide an area where 'in progress' data and results can be accessed securely and remotely by user defined working collaborations and thus will be a key component of AstroGrid enabled 'collaboratories'.

Nic's concept for the storage area where users can save intermediate and final results of a job run through the VO.

The data will be stored in standard VO format with standard metadata.

It will be automatically added to the ResourceDirectory and marked as private to the owner by default. Owner can then make it accessible to others by marking it as fully public or assigning rights to it to other individuals or groups.

User could cite the URN for this resource in any papers.

Resource could be used in other jobs as simply as data sets from data centre (easier in fact as the data will already be in standard format).

Extensions

A natural extension of the MySpace concept is to allow Guy's idea of DataHarvesting?.
