Notes

• Write down done or finished (or being done) when pages are finished, currently just update the notes from the previous meeting.
  • Dugan to re-format wiki page.

• We need versioning control for documentation.
  • Perhaps look into this at the Consortium meeting.

• Ed
  • Menu of VOExplorer, Login, logout and preferences (finished) - some editing of others
  • Python documentation has been updated as well
    • Lines are too long?
    • Formatting can be sorted out.
• Silvia, reference menu, list of what each item does, similar for task runner
  • Useful to have a glossary - refer to glossary from the page. Could also be used as an index
  • Project wide glossary
  • Silvia has started creating a glossary.
  • Not sure how helioscope will work, Silvia should put in stubs (imagine what it will be like).
  • Helioscope will not be in place by next week, focus is on astroscope.
• Jonathan has been busy, will start working on it.
• Anita - started writing notes.
  • Query builder - Jeff's document, provides list of every single command that can be entered into query builder
  • ACTION Anita to check query builder commands
  • Put it all in at the moment and then grey out those that don't work.
• Dugan - will work on this on Thursday
• Nic - will work on it for Friday

• Helper Applications (Plastic apps)
  • Let Anita know if anything doesn't work.
  • Make a note of any PLASTIC applications which are coming up

• Server applications
  • We need minimal documentation for server applications
  • As a bare minimum a note of where the home pages for the programs (are links to the native documentation)
  • Perhaps have a section on server side applications.

• Try to make good progress on this, this week. Priority over any other AstroGrid stuff.
  • Create ASCII text files and PNG graphics
  • If area for duplication, put in square brackets that indicate this
  • Make a note of any other parts in the documentation that need to be written for

• Brief telecon on Friday at 14.00 for 30 minutes
