WPA1 Focus Meeting: Science & Use Cases for Phase-B

IoA, Cambridge, 16+17 April 2002

Agenda

The aim of this meeting is to review the existing Science casesand Generic Use cases, check completeness and assess which of these cases should form the scientific basis for Phase-B of the AstroGrid project.

It is proposed that all AstroGrid project members rank their top 5 science and use cases, this providing an input into the discussion.

The two day meeting is to allow time for the group to validate the existing cases and determine the bounding parameters for each case if necessary. The bulk of the 2nd day activity will focus on the generation of the Phase-B subset of science and use cases.

NAW will produce a report from the meeting which will input into the Phase-B architecture planning team deliberations.
