Current installation support status

Note: By "Install docs complete", we mean that they are sufficient to enable a sysadmin who is generally unfamiliar with AstroGrid to install, configure, register and test that component. The docs also need an introductory section explaining what the component is for and in what circumstances you need to install it (e.g. cea has three different webapps, astrogrid-cea-commandline, astrogrid-cea-http and astrogrid-cea-server; we need to make clear which ones need to be installed in which circumstances).

By "Install docs up-to-date", we mean that the responsible developer has actually checked that any existing documentation is accurate as well as just present - many components currently have out-of-date instructions which in some cases are worse than no instructions at all.

The following table lists the WAR components we're currently building. Please let me know ASAP if any of these are no longer in use.

Note that any component listed as having a GUI-installer also has a commandline installer - you just run the installer with the -c swich -- JohnTaylor - 09 May 2005

• Deleted slinger webnode - it exists for testing deployed systems rather than general use
