Registry Information for Resources Published at Leicester (LU)

The full list of Leicester resources including the major LEDAS multi mission archive can be found by performing a search for 'uk.ac.le' as an identifier in VOExplorer and searching for the term 'LEDAS' in any field. However the story of accessing the full LEDAS set of archives is long and involved on the tech side (rather like Vizier) since there are too many entries to create separate services for each and hence representing LEDAS is still occupying significant effort (many thanks to all the tech team including Keith, Kona, Kevin, Gary and DLG). As of 14/11/2007, a single entry labelled 'LEDAS' is found using the MSSL test registry endpoint (http://msslxv.mssl.ucl.ac.uk:8080/mssl-registry/services/RegistryQuery) which gives access to a large number of LEDAS hosted archives, making them available for ADQL queries. Ongoing work is being undertaken by Gary and Kevin to register this in the main default galahad registry. It is known that there may be significant memory issues using this multiple entry table resource in VOExplorer.
