Using Together and Eclipse to Produce Diagrams

Generating Class Diagrams

Together can be used to create class diagrams of all java classes within a package:

• Open Together and go to "File -> New -> New Project."
• In the dialog, the second property is "Location". Click the folder icon to the right.
• Navigate to the top level of your package (i.e., for diagrams in org.astrogrid.registry, navigate to "org").
• In the dialog property "Project Name", enter a name - this will appear in location as ".tpr".
• Click "Finish", and the class diagrams will be generated in the Together diagram pane.
• In the class diagram, click on bold class names to see diagrams for successive package levels.
