Model of "average" galactic spectra
type here
type here
A theoretical astronomer wants to model the spectra of an "average" galaxy. The model is calculated with parallel processing code that requires only a few user-defined input parameters (no datasets required).
First, the astronomer uploads the galactic spectra modelling code to a parallel processing compute resource. Next, the input parameters are entered through a user interface or by uploading a file containing the parameters. The parallel processor runs the model and returns a file of average galactic spectra to the astronomer.
