- The user performs an archive search through the Grid, working from his/her home PC.
- The PC is connected to the Grid via a dial-up connection to the Internet.
- The search is complex and will take a considerable time, producing a large volume of data.
- The user specifies that the searche be executed "off line" (i.e. after the home PC is disconnected from the Internet and Grid) and that the results be delivered to an account at the user's place of work.

- Data-grid storage is assumed to be independent of location. The results need to go to a very specific location. How can the system be told where to put the data?
- The Grid has to find out that the user logged on at home has a right to deposit files in the work account.
- How can one user order files put into another user's account? This sounds more like email than file delivery.
- If the search fails, error reports must be sent. Where should they go? To the home account? To the work account? To both?

Based on GTR's use case: poste-restante

Author: Once the refinements here and comments in the forum die down, perhaps you could rewrite the problem, incorporating the comments and refinements.
This use-case may be changed if we build the system to store results
"on the Grid". Instead of shipping results to a location provided
by the user, the system keeps them in a location provided
for the user (exact location abstracted away Grid-style)
until the user calls for them.
